Dr. Suárez López del Amo earned his DDS in 2011 from the European University of Madrid (Spain) and continued his career at The University of Michigan. After two years of post-doctoral program, Dr. Suárez López del Amo is currently finalizing his masters in periodontics. He is a senior resident and research fellow at the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine.
Dr. Suárez López del Amo is author/co-author of more than 50 peer-review publications, contributing to several book chapters as well as international oral presentations. His main topics of research are currently implant dentistry, peri-implantitis, and evidence-based dentistry. Moreover, he is an active member of several professional societies related to periodontology and implant dentistry and he serves as referee in the editorial committee of multiple journals in arenas of periodontics and implant dentistry.

Jonas Peter Becktor, DDS, PhD (medicine doktor) graduated in dentistry from the University of Lund, Sweden in 1988, received his specialist degree in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2001 at the Maxillofacial Unit, Halmstad Hospital and his defended his PhD thesis; "On Factors Influencing the Outcome of Various Methods Using Endosseous Implants for Reconstruction of the Atrophic Edentulous and Partially Dentate Maxilla" at the University of Gothenburg in 2006. Becktor worked as a researcher and visiting professor/clinician at the Departments in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Loma Linda University and Mayo Clinic in the USA in 2000 and 2001. Becktor worked as an Oral & Maxillofacial Consultant at the Royal University Hospital, Rigshospitalet, University of Copenhagen and at the Maxillofacial Unit, Halmstad Hospital in 2001-2011 and is since 2012, an Associated Professor (Docent), Consultant and the Head of the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Medicine at the University of Malmö, Sweden. Becktor's main research interest is advanced implant surgery including bone grafting methods.

Erhan Dursun was born in Istanbul in 1980. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Kocaeli. He graduated from Hacettepe University, School of Dentistry in 2004. As well as he worked at Hacettepe University, Department of Periodontology as a research investigator and resident, he also studied at Health Science Institute as a PhD student. He completed his specialty in Periodontics and PhD career in 2010 and worked as a Clinical Instructor (2010-2013) and now working as an Assistant Professor at the same department. Dr. Dursun is interested in the fields of “periodontal medicine, peri-implant and gingival crevicular fluid analysis, immediate implant placement and loading protocols, advanced soft and hard tissue augmentation techniques”. He maintains membership in European Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration and Turkish Periodontology Society. He has many articles published in international scientific journals, and reports presented in several national and international congress and conferences.

Maria Helena Fernandes, born in 1958, received her PhD in 1986 at Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London, UK. Currently, she is full Professor of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Porto (FMDUP), Portugal. She coordinates the Laboratory for Bone Metabolism and Regeneration at FMDUP, with the research interests mainly focused on the pharmacology of bone remodeling and regeneration in normal and systemic compromised conditions, using in vitro and in vivo methodologies. Particular emphasis is put on the cellular interactions in regenerative strategies and on the biological response to biomaterials. The lab relies on multidisciplinary collaborations and on the involvement of many visiting researchers with a diverse scientific background, greatly contributing to translational knowledge in this area. She has authored over 140 peer-reviewed publications.

Professor Rasmusson is a graduate (DDS) from the Faculty of Odontology, University of Gothenburg Sweden and (MBBS) from Barts and The London, School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary, University of London, UK. In 1998 he defended his PhD thesis "On implant integration in membrane induced and grafted bone" at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Gothenburg. He simultaneously completed the training program (SpR) in oral and maxillofacial surgery. In 2001, he became associate professor in biomaterial sciences and in 2002, senior lecturer in maxillofacial surgery. In 2007 he was appointed professor of maxillofacial surgery and since 2008 he is head of the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery, The Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg. He has published around 100 papers and book chapters in the fields of maxillofacial surgery and oral implantology. Additionally, he has supervised 5 PhD-students to dissertation and is currently main supervisor for 5 ongoing PhD-projects. Dr. Rasmusson is also a consultant at the Sahlgrenska University hospital and the clinical work is concentrated to ortognathic and reconstructive surgery.

Povilas Daugėla graduated Dentistry in 2010, followed by consecutive postgraduate three years studies in Oral surgery at Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LUHS). In 2010 he was nominated as the best young scientist of Baltic Osseointegration Academy. Since 2013 studies postgraduate Maxillofacial Surgery program at LUHS, taking particular interest in the research of alveolar bone regeneration. He lectures as invited lecturer at Maxillofacial Surgery Department of LUHS, is a mentor and moderator of young scientists research activities. Alongside with the academic activity, works as oral surgeon in private practice.
Doctor has lectured in numerous local and international scientific conferences in Lithuania, Germany, Turkey, Denmark, Spain, Switzerland. Julius Maminskas graduated Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) in 2012 and achieved diploma of Odontology. Being a student he was a head of LSMU Scientific club of Odontology and still is a scientific mentor for students. During his term of office new contacts have been made with Kaunas University of Technology, which offers a wider research and creative opportunities for dental researchers and enabling detailed knowledge of dental materials.
Immediate specialization was achieved in 2015 in department of Prosthodontics (LSMU). At the same year he started PhD studies focused on prosthetic solutions on dental implants that covers bone scaffolds and dental biomaterials, digital dentistry, micro-dentistry and biomimetic in dentistry. Three of articles have been published at „Thomson Reuters Web of Knowledge“ databases.
Julius works as an assistant and clinician in Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and as a prosthodontist in a private practice in Kaunas. As a clinician, he is mostly involved in aesthetic micro dentistry, implant restorations, TMD and occlusal treatment. Moreover, Julius is organizing dental events and trainings for dental practitioners, giving lectures and manual courses. Also, he is a member of executive board in Lithuanian Society of Prosthodontist (LOOD) and an active attender of conferences in Lithuania and foreign countries.
